Plan your Bukhara arrival around the exact station on your ticket. The city name does not mean you will step straight into the historic centre.
Check the actual service
Use the official railway website to compare departure, arrival, class and journey time. Avoid planning connections around an average duration from an old guidebook. For a night arrival, confirm that your accommodation can receive you at that hour.
Prepare the transfer
If booking a pickup, provide the train number and agree on a meeting point. Confirm the total price, delay waiting arrangements and luggage capacity. For an independent taxi, save the hotel address and entrance pin; a vehicle may not reach the door in older lanes.
Leave a return buffer
Check luggage storage hours after check-out and use the departure station printed on your ticket. Keep your document and ticket accessible. Allow time for boarding procedures and traffic. Railway fares are date-specific, so check your selected service rather than relying on a permanent route price.
