How Do I Book?

What Happens if the Weather Changes?
If the weather makes it difficult to enjoy the tour comfortably, we’ll agree on another time or date.
How Do I Pay?
You can pay in cash in person once the tour is complete. Accepted currencies are US dollars, euros, Russian roubles and Uzbek soms.

The journey usually takes around 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic and your arrival time. A taxi is a convenient option, especially if you’re visiting for the first time.

April–May and September–October offer particularly comfortable weather for walking and sightseeing. Summers can be very hot, so an early start is best. Winter can be chilly, but there’s still plenty to explore.

A combination of the metro, taxis and walking works well. The metro helps you avoid traffic, while taxis are convenient in the evening or when travelling with luggage. You can book a ride through Yandex Go or other local taxi apps.

As in any large city, choose busy, well-lit streets, keep an eye on your belongings and use licensed taxis. If you’re unsure about a route or neighbourhood, message me — I’ll help you work out how to get there.

Bring some cash in US dollars or euros, along with a bank card. You’ll need Uzbek som for everyday expenses during your stay.

You can exchange money at banks, official exchange offices, the airport and some hotels. I recommend comparing rates at a few places and avoiding unofficial money changers.

International Visa and Mastercard cards are accepted at many major hotels, restaurants and shops. For markets, small cafés and everyday purchases, it’s best to carry some cash in Uzbek som.

Booking a taxi through Yandex Go is a convenient option. The journey to the city centre usually takes around 20–30 minutes, depending on the time of day and traffic. I can also recommend a suitable transfer option or help arrange an airport pickup.
