Hazrati Imam Complex
The spiritual heart of Old Tashkent. This architectural ensemble brings together mosques, madrasas and mausoleums, preserving the atmosphere of the city’s traditional neighbourhoods.
Barak Khan Madrasa
A historic 16th-century madrasa with striking architecture and the peaceful atmosphere of the Old Town. It was once an important centre of religious education.
Muyi Muborak Madrasa
A small madrasa within the Hazrati Imam complex whose name means “Sacred Hair”. This site is associated with religious relics and Tashkent’s spiritual history.
Kukeldash Madrasa
One of Tashkent’s best-known madrasas, built in the 16th century. Overlooking the Chorsu area, it recalls a time when important trade routes passed through the city.
A Walk Along Zarkaynar Street
We’ll stroll along one of Old Tashkent’s atmospheric streets, where you can experience the unhurried pace of traditional neighbourhoods and discover everyday life beyond the main tourist routes.
Chorsu Bazaar
A lively bazaar beneath an enormous blue dome. Browse stalls piled with spices, dried fruit and traditional flatbreads, soak up the city’s rhythm and sample local produce if you wish.
Lunch at Beshqozon Plov Centre
We’ll stop for lunch at the famous Beshqozon Plov Centre, where six varieties of plov, Uzbekistan’s traditional rice dish, are prepared in enormous cauldrons.
Tashkent Metro
We’ll visit several beautiful metro stations: Kosmonavtlar, Alisher Navoiy, Paxtakor and Amir Temur Xiyoboni. Each tells its own story about space, culture, sport or Uzbekistan’s history.
