An evening walk in Bukhara can be a second look at a favourite place rather than another full sightseeing shift. Choose one area and decide where the evening will end.
Stay with one ensemble
Return to Poi Kalyan for the minaret’s silhouette or stroll around Lyabi-Hauz. Daytime interiors and evening exterior views complement each other. Illumination does not mean ticket offices and rooms remain open late.
Photograph considerately
Find a safe place to stop before composing a picture. Do not block passages with a tripod or enter closed courtyards for a higher viewpoint. Ask before photographing people at tables or craftspeople at work. Waiting for light at one place often works better than continually moving on.
Keep the way home simple
Save your accommodation offline and use clear public routes. Watch uneven paving and darker lanes. After a long day, arrange a reachable taxi pickup point if vehicles cannot reach the door. Tea and one satisfying view can be a complete evening without another paid visit.
