A tea break in Bukhara is more than a drink. It gives you time to stop comparing monuments against a checklist and decide what you actually want to see next.
Choose for your needs
Look for shade after a walk, a quiet reading corner or a view of an ensemble. You need not take the first table beside the most famous façade. Check the menu and whether the setting suits a longer rest.
Clarify the order
Tea may be sold by pot, cup or as part of a set. Ask about volume, sweets, nuts and service charges. If extra items appear without being ordered, clarify whether they are included rather than assuming they are free.
Reset the afternoon
Review your map and shorten the next stretch if you are tired. Check the return ticket, pickup arrangements and phone battery. A pause often reveals that one thoughtful visit is better than three rushed entries. Before leaving, check the bill and remember any shopping under the table.
