Private Tashkent City Tour with an English-speaking local guide

My husband and I spent six eventful days in Kuala Lumpur at the end of November. Our wonderful memories of Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia are all thanks to our guide, Sait, so this review is dedicated to him.
He is incredibly friendly, punctual and knowledgeable. We learnt so many fascinating things about the country’s history, and not a single question went unanswered. By the end of our trip, I even asked him whether there was anything about Malaysia he didn’t know!
We met the lovely langur monkeys, and thanks to Sait, we were able to see the magical fireflies even when the usual excursion was unavailable because of high water levels and strong currents. He has such a kind heart, always keeping a handful of nuts in his pocket for the animals we met along the way. That says a lot about him.
Dear Sait, if you’re reading this, thank you for all your helpful advice and recommendations, and for looking after us from the very first moment to the last. Thank you for the photos in the rain, for introducing us to “Immortan Joe” and the orange-furred baby monkey, for letting us taste “oil” from a bag, for the romantic moments and your warm smile.
My husband and I give Sait a heartfelt ten out of ten, with our sincere gratitude.

Sait is a first-class guide! He adapted the standard itinerary to make our trip more convenient and comfortable. We spent three wonderful, activity-filled days exploring some of the most memorable places in beautiful Malaysia.

Then we explored the city. Sait showed us both the main sights and unusual corners of Kuala Lumpur away from the tourist trail. We visited a market, where he helped us buy souvenirs, treats to take home and even a suitcase — bargaining for us too! 😁 We had a wondI found out about Sait on a travel forum and contacted him about six weeks before our trip. He answered all my questions about the tours, prices and itineraries politely and in detail, and we agreed on a time that suited us.
Our first tour, covering Kuala Lumpur and Batu Caves, was fantastic! Sait met us at our hotel at exactly 8 a.m., and we headed straight to the caves. This was a great decision: there were fewer people, and climbing the steps was easier before it got hot. Along the way, he shared so many interesting stories about the country and its people.

Our second tour was just before our flight home. Sait met us at the airport, and we set off for beautiful Putrajaya. He showed us the city’s most scenic spots, we visited a mosque, and we learnt plenty of fascinating new things.
Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur left a lasting impression on us, and that was largely thanks to Sait! He is polite, knowledgeable and articulate, as well as an engaging storyteller and a pleasure to talk to. We are so grateful for the time he spent with us, his help at the airport, the mangosteens 😂 and all the sweet memories of our visit to Malaysia.

I contacted Sait a month before our trip to check his availability, then booked our flights. He suggested several tours that suited the length of our stay and agreed all the details with us, including an airport pickup.
Everything was excellent and went exactly as arranged, apart from our flight being delayed! Every detail had been thought through, and he shared plenty of useful advice.
